7. Holiday use it or lose it!

Many organisations have a use it or lose it policy around holiday. This basically means that if the employee or worker does not use their holiday in the holiday year, they cannot carry it forward, and they lose it! Other organisations have variations of this, e.g. an employee or worker can only carry forward a limited amount of holiday to the next year.
