Guidance – Probationary Review Guidance for Managers – this guidance explains the recommended probationary review process, how to prepare for reviews and conduct the meetings.
Guidance – Extending Probationary Periods – this guidance explains the circumstances in which an extension may be appropriate, the risks and implications of extending probation, and the support that should be provided during any extension period.
Manager's Pre-Review Meeting Form - to be completed by the manager in advance of the probationary review meeting to help them prepare.
Probation Review Form – to be completed by the manager with the employee, to support a structured review process.
Manager's End of Probation Form – to record the outcome of an employee’s probation period following the final probation review meeting.
